"The Times Square Alliance would like to extend a hearty congratulations and thank you to all of the restaurants who participated in the 16th Annual Taste of Times Square! It’s hard to believe that another hugely enjoyable (and delicious) Taste of Times Square has already come and gone. This year’s festival witnessed an impressive turnout both by attendees and by participating eateries.
As you know, a new element was introduced at in 2009. Attendees had the opportunity to vote for their favorite Taste of Times Square booth. Patrons were given voting tokens when purchasing tickets, and were encouraged to vote for their Taste of Times Square Favorite by dropping the token into ballot boxes set up at each restaurant’s booth. The 10 establishments with the most vote tokens will receive a certificate and bragging rights as a “Taste of Times Square Favorite 2009.” Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work through the challenges of adding this first-time element to the event.
