DC was the place to B. last night. Debra Lee, CEO of BET, hosted a party at her home to congratulate the winners of this year's BET Honors. In addition to 2009 BET honoree B. Smith and her husband Dan Gasby, the party was attended by such notables as Magic Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Gabriel Union, Congressman James Clyburn, CNN's Susanne Malveaux, and Washington DC Mayor Adrian Fenty. The attendees ate and danced the night away, proud to be gathering at this historic moment,when Barack Obama will be sworn in as President of the United States, one day after the celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr.
