ETCHED SILK scarves are elegant to wear or to give as gifts. Designer Mary Emery showed B. a new way to etch fabric, using a product called Fiber Etch Fabric Remover, available in fabric or craft stores. This is a cream, which eats away at the fibers of the rayon, leaving the stronger silk intact.
